Short courses after matric or inter. Pick by months, not by name.
Every list online names the same courses. None of them asks the only question that decides it: how many months do you actually have before college, university or a job starts? Start there.
In short
Our short courses run one, two or three months, live online, at Rs 6,500 to Rs 15,500 a month. There’s no entry condition, so you can join before your matric or inter result. With about three months after matric, take Office Management or Graphic Design, Rs 19,500 each. With two months, Social Media Marketing is Rs 13,000 in full. After inter with a gap year, a three month course like Digital Marketing with AI or Web Development goes deepest.
Fees and lengths come from the same file that runs our course pages. Read on 2 November 2026.
How many months do you have?
A course you don’t finish is worth nothing, and the most common reason people don’t finish is that college started in the middle of it. So match the length to your gap first.
One or two months
Finishes before most terms start. Good for the short gap after inter, or alongside college on evening batches.
- Social Media Marketing, Rs 13,000
- UI/UX Design with Figma, Rs 15,000
- AI & Automation, Rs 17,000
- Freelancing & Client Hunting with AI, Rs 10,000
Three months
Fits the usual wait for a matric result. Long enough to build a portfolio someone can look at.
- Digital Marketing with AI, Rs 19,500
- Web Development, Rs 31,500
- AI Video Editing & Content Creation, Rs 25,500
- Office Management & Virtual Assistant, Rs 19,500
- Graphic Design & Motion Graphics, Rs 19,500
After matric
At this point most people haven’t used a computer for anything but school work and phones. That’s fine. Two of our courses are built for exactly that starting point.
If you want a base for everything later
Office Management and Virtual Assistant. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and reports, the things every college assignment and every office job expects. It’s the course that makes FSc, ICS or I.Com easier, not just a job.
If you want something you can sell
Graphic Design. Photoshop, Illustrator, branding and motion graphics, with AI tools. By the end you’ve got a portfolio, and the last fifteen days are spent trying to land a first paying client with it.
After inter, FSc, ICS or I.Com
Here the question splits in two. Are you going on to a degree soon, or are you trying to earn first?
University starts in a few months
Take a skill you can keep using part time through the degree. Social Media Marketing is two months, and you can run pages for local businesses alongside classes. AI and Automation is two months and runs on no-code tools.
You want to earn before anything else
Digital Marketing with AI, three months, Rs 19,500. Indeed Pakistan puts a digital marketer at Rs 59,923 from 906 reported salaries. ICS students often prefer Web Development, Rs 31,500, which has the highest reported ceiling of anything we teach.
For parents reading this
- You pay one month at a time. A three month course is three payments, not a lump sum. If it isn’t working after the first week, the fee is refunded. The full fee rules are here.
- Classes happen at home. Every class is live online with the instructor, in a batch of 10 at most. No commute and no evenings out.
- No job is promised. Nobody can promise a job honestly. What every skill course does include is fifteen days at the end spent finding a first paying client.
Short courses after matric and inter, answered
Which short course is best after matric?
If you have about three months before your result, Office Management and Virtual Assistant or Graphic Design. Both are three months at Rs 6,500 a month, Rs 19,500 in total, and both assume you are starting from zero. Office Management builds the computer skills every later course and job expects. Graphic Design gives you work you can show and sell. If you only have two months, Social Media Marketing is Rs 13,000 in total.
Which short course is best after inter, FSc or ICS?
It depends on what comes next. If university starts in a few months, take a two or three month course you can finish before it does: Social Media Marketing, Graphic Design, UI/UX Design or AI and Automation. If you're taking a gap year or aren't going on to a degree, a three month course like Digital Marketing with AI or Web Development goes deepest. ICS students usually find Web Development the most natural fit.
Can I join a computer course before my matric result?
Yes. There is no entry condition of any kind on our courses, no entry test and no result card required. Classes are taught in a mix of Urdu and English.
Can I do a course while I am still in college?
Yes, if you pick the right slot. We run morning, evening and weekend batches, four or five days a week, all live online. Evening and weekend batches suit college students. If a class clashes with an exam, tell the instructor and you get the notes and the task for it.
Is the certificate government recognised?
No. It's InnoTech Skills Institute's own certificate of completion. We'd rather say that plainly than let you find out later. For freelance and private work, clients judge your portfolio, not the certificate. If you need a government certificate specifically, DigiSkills and NAVTTC courses issue those.
How much does a short computer course cost?
At InnoTech, Rs 10,000 to Rs 31,500 for a full course, paid month by month at Rs 6,500 to Rs 15,500 a month. There is no registration fee, no admission fee and no exam fee. Leave within 3 days of your first class and the fee you paid is refunded.
Do I need a laptop?
Yes. Classes are online and assignments are done on a laptop. Any working laptop is enough for most courses. A phone alone isn't enough to do the work.
Are there free short courses after matric?
Yes. DigiSkills is free and online, Saylani Mass IT Training is free with an entry test and mostly in Karachi, and PSDF funds courses at approved centres in Punjab. Their intake dates change, so check their own sites. We compared them with a paid batch on our free vs paid page.
Still deciding? Compare all eleven by fee, length and pay on the which course is best page, or weigh the free routes on the free vs paid page.
