Why learn office management and VA work at InnoTech

This is the quiet course that keeps paying. Every office in Lahore runs on Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and most people who use them every day were never actually taught them, so a candidate who can build a clean report or a working Excel sheet gets picked. That part hasn't changed. What's new is the second half of the job. The same skills, done for a business sitting in Dubai, London or Toronto, are called virtual assistant work, and they're paid in dollars from your own home. Inbox and calendar management, data entry that's actually accurate, reports, invoices and client follow-up are exactly what overseas businesses hire Pakistanis for. So this course teaches the office software properly, adds the tools remote teams run on, and finishes by setting up your Upwork or Fiverr profile with real samples in it. The last 15 days are the client phase: pricing, proposals, outreach and follow-up.

How the course runs

Classes: campus or live online

Physical classes run at our campus, 38-D near Mian Chowk, Jubilee Town, Lahore. Online students join the same class live on Zoom or Google Meet, with the same instructor and the same assignments. Every online session is recorded, so if you miss a class or want to go over something again, you can rewatch it.

Batch size and timings

A batch is never more than 15 students, so the instructor sees everyone's work. We run morning, evening and weekend batches. Message the counselor on WhatsApp for the next start date and the timing that fits you.

Fee: Rs 5,000 a month

The course is 3 months, so the full course comes to Rs 15,000. You pay month by month, not all at once. If you leave within 7 days of your first class, what you have paid for the course is refunded in full. Full details are on the fees page and the refund policy.

Certificate and the last 15 days

When your final project is done you get the InnoTech Skills Institute certificate of completion, printed and presented at the campus. It's our own certificate, not a government diploma; what gets you hired is the portfolio you build here, and the certificate confirms you built it. The last 15 days of the course are spent on finding paying clients: pricing, proposals, outreach and follow-up.

Final Portfolio Output

A document and reporting portfolio plus a finished Upwork or Fiverr profile built around real samples.

What this course costs against the rest of Lahore

Rs 15,000 for three months is a number that means nothing on its own, so here is what other institutes publish for the same skills. We read these prices off their own pages in September 2026 and we have named each one so you can check.

InnoTech Office Management & VA: Rs 15,000

Rs 5,000 a month for three months, paid month by month. Word, Excel and PowerPoint, a portfolio of eight real projects, and a final 15 days spent finding paying work.

Advanced MS Office, Lahore: Rs 39,000

The Pakistan Institute of Management publishes Rs 39,000 plus GST for its Advanced MS Office course in Lahore, delivered over three full days. That is more than twice our fee for a course that ends in a week.

Amazon Virtual Assistant, Lahore: Rs 36,000

Also the Pakistan Institute of Management, Rs 36,000 plus tax for a two month evening certificate. Virtual assistant work is one part of our month three rather than a separate purchase.

Office Management elsewhere: Rs 15,000

Digiskool publishes Rs 15,000 for a two month Office Management course, one month of training and one month of internship. The same total as ours for two thirds of the teaching time.

And the free options, because they are real

You should know these exist before you pay anyone. DigiSkills.pk is funded by the Ministry of IT and Telecom through Virtual University and teaches this material free, online, in Urdu, with an e-certificate. Its current batch enrolment was closed when we checked. Saylani Mass IT Training runs a free three month Certified Computer Operator course with its own certificate. If a free recorded course is what suits your situation, take it, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. What you are paying us for is a live instructor who sees your work in a batch capped at 15, a fixed campus in Jubilee Town you can walk into, and the last 15 days spent on finding a client. That is a different product, not a better version of the same one. If you are weighing the free route seriously, we compared them with us, fact by fact.

What these jobs pay in Pakistan

Reported monthly salaries from Indeed Pakistan, updated at the end of August 2026. We have said how many people reported each figure, because an average built on four salaries is not an average.

Office assistant: Rs 22,396

A month, across 477 reported salaries. This is the entry job most people picture when they take an MS Office course.

Data entry clerk: Rs 31,621

A month, across 1,200 reported salaries. Excel is what separates this from the row above it.

Virtual assistant: Rs 57,852

A month, across 307 reported salaries. Roughly two and a half times the office assistant figure, for someone doing much the same work for a client abroad.

That gap is the entire reason month three exists. The same Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills are worth about Rs 22,000 a month in a Lahore office and about Rs 58,000 a month working remotely for someone else's office, so the course spends its last month on Fiverr and LinkedIn profiles, proposals and outreach rather than on more software. On the local side the demand is there either way: on the day we checked, Rozee.pk was carrying more than 100 office assistant listings and more than 40 data entry operator listings for Lahore alone.

Who can join, and in what language

No entry condition at all

There is no minimum qualification for this course. You do not need matric, you do not need inter, and you do not need a degree or any prior computer experience. Students join after matric, after inter, alongside a job, and after years at home. What you need is your own laptop and the time to do the assignments.

Taught in Urdu and English together

Classes are taught in a mix of Urdu and English, whichever makes the point land. The software, the menus and the terms you will use with an employer or a client stay in English, because that is how you will meet them in real work.

Course FAQs

Do I need a computer background?

No. This course starts from switching the machine on and files and folders, and it's the one we most often recommend to complete beginners.

What is virtual assistant work exactly?

Doing the admin side of a business remotely: email and calendar, data entry, reports, invoices, customer replies and scheduling. Overseas businesses hire for it constantly, and it pays in foreign currency.

Will I be able to work from home after this?

That's what the third month is built for. You finish with a profile, real samples and the outreach practice to go with it. What you earn depends on how consistently you apply.

Is Excel covered in depth?

Yes. Formulas, sorting and filtering, lookup functions, charts and a working dashboard, because Excel is the skill employers test first.

What is the fee?

Rs 5,000 a month for 3 months, Rs 15,000 in total. You pay month by month. If you leave within 7 days of your first class the course fee you have paid is refunded.

Are classes online or at the campus?

Both. You can attend at our Jubilee Town campus in Lahore or join the same class live on Zoom or Google Meet. Online sessions are recorded, so you can rewatch any class.

What are the class timings?

We run morning, evening and weekend batches, each capped at 15 students. WhatsApp the counselor for the next start date and the slot that suits you.

Is the certificate government-recognised?

No. It's InnoTech Skills Institute's own certificate of completion, printed and handed over at the campus. Employers and clients look at the portfolio you build during the course; the certificate confirms you completed it.

What happens in the last 15 days?

The final 15 days are the client phase: you set your price, write proposals, do outreach to local and international clients and learn to follow up. The goal is that you leave with a real lead or a first paying client, not only a certificate.

Is the course taught in Urdu or English?

Both. Classes are taught in a mix of Urdu and English, whichever makes the point land. The software menus and the words you will use with an employer or a client stay in English, because that is how you will meet them in real work.

Do I need to have passed matric or inter to join?

No. There is no minimum qualification for this course and no prior computer experience is needed. Students join after matric, after inter, alongside a job, and after years at home. You need your own laptop and the time to do the assignments.

What can I earn after this course?

Indeed Pakistan reports an average of Rs 22,396 a month for an office assistant across 477 salaries, Rs 31,621 a month for a data entry clerk across 1,200 salaries, and Rs 57,852 a month for a virtual assistant across 307 salaries, all updated in August 2026. The virtual assistant figure is roughly two and a half times the office assistant one, which is why the last month of this course is spent on finding remote clients rather than on more software.

DigiSkills and Saylani teach this free. Why pay?

They do, and you should know that before you pay anyone. DigiSkills.pk is funded by the Ministry of IT and Telecom and teaches this free, online, in Urdu, though its batch enrolment was closed when we checked. Saylani Mass IT Training runs a free three month Certified Computer Operator course. What you pay us for is a live instructor who sees your work in a batch capped at 15 students, a campus in Jubilee Town you can walk into, and 15 days at the end spent on getting you a paying client. If a free recorded course suits your situation better, take it.

How does the fee compare with other institutes in Lahore?

Rs 15,000 total for three months. The Pakistan Institute of Management publishes Rs 39,000 plus GST for a three day Advanced MS Office course in Lahore and Rs 36,000 plus tax for a two month Amazon Virtual Assistant certificate. Digiskool publishes Rs 15,000 for a two month Office Management course. These were read off their own pages in September 2026.
