Why learn AI video editing at InnoTech

Video is where the money moved. Reels, YouTube videos and short ads are what businesses spend the most on, and editors are the bottleneck. A creator with 50,000 followers needs three to five edited videos a week, and a local brand needs the same ad cut at four different lengths for Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. What changed in the last year is that a lot of that work now starts inside an AI tool: the voice-over, the B-roll, even the first cut. Editors who can drive those tools charge more and finish faster, and they're the ones getting the repeat work. This course starts where editing has always started, with cuts, pacing and sound in CapCut and Premiere Pro, because AI can't fix a badly cut video. Then it takes you into AI video generation, AI voice and dubbing, and motion titles in After Effects. You'll build a showreel, a reel pack and one ad produced almost entirely with AI, and the last 15 days are spent finding the first people who'll pay for it.

How the course runs

Classes: campus or live online

Physical classes run at our campus, 38-D near Mian Chowk, Jubilee Town, Lahore. Online students join the same class live on Zoom or Google Meet, with the same instructor and the same assignments. Every online session is recorded, so if you miss a class or want to go over something again, you can rewatch it.

Batch size and timings

A batch is never more than 15 students, so the instructor sees everyone's work. We run morning, evening and weekend batches. Message the counselor on WhatsApp for the next start date and the timing that fits you.

Fee: Rs 7,000 a month

The course is 4 months, so the full course comes to Rs 28,000. You pay month by month, not all at once. If you leave within 7 days of your first class, what you have paid for the course is refunded in full. Full details are on the fees page and the refund policy.

Certificate and the last 15 days

When your final project is done you get the InnoTech Skills Institute certificate of completion, printed and presented at the campus. It's our own certificate, not a government diploma; what gets you hired is the portfolio you build here, and the certificate confirms you built it. The last 15 days of the course are spent on finding paying clients: pricing, proposals, outreach and follow-up.

Final Portfolio Output

A showreel, a reel pack and one AI-produced ad that can be sent directly to creators, businesses and agencies.

What this course costs against the rest of Lahore

Rs 28,000 for four months is a number that means nothing on its own, so here is what other institutes publish for video editing. We read every one of these off their own pages on 17 September 2026 and named them, so you can check them yourself.

InnoTech AI Video Editing: Rs 28,000

Rs 7,000 a month for four months, paid month by month. CapCut and Premiere Pro, After Effects basics, AI video generation and AI voice-over, editing for reels and YouTube, a showreel of real edits, and a final 15 days spent on finding paying work.

ICT Trainings, Lahore: Rs 15,000 for one month

Their own page publishes PKR 15,000 for a one month Video Editing course, with online batches listed for 16 September and 14 October 2026, running an hour a day, three days a week. A little over half our total, for a quarter of the time.

Peak Solutions, Lahore: Rs 23,500 all in

Their page publishes a course fee of PKR 20,000 plus a PKR 2,000 admission fee and a PKR 1,500 examination fee, over two months. The same page lists the language of instruction as English only.

NISDA, Lahore: Rs 5,500 a month

Rs 5,500 a month plus a Rs 1,000 enrolment fee, with the last month charged at Rs 2,700. Two classes a week in the evening. This is the closest thing to our own pricing shape in the city.

Nexskill, Corvit and Baabroz: no number

None of the three publishes a video editing fee you can read. Nexskill asks you to contact them for the latest fee structure, Baabroz publishes no fee on its course page, and Corvit keeps its Lahore fee list inside an image file, which neither you nor Google can search.

PNY Trainings: no number on the course page

Their Adobe Premiere and After Effects course page publishes no fee. There are video related rows on their separate fee structure table, but the names there do not line up cleanly with the course they advertise, so we are not going to put a figure in their mouth.

And the free options, because they are real

Before you pay anyone, including us, here is what the free programmes give you.

DigiSkills.pk: free, and very crowded

Their Video Editing, Animation and Vlogging course is free of cost, runs as a 12 week batch with 24 hours of video, is taught in Urdu and English, and is open to everyone. On the batch that started on 3 August 2026 it shows 17,619 enrolled trainees. The material is good. What 17,619 people in one recorded course cannot get is someone who watches your cut and tells you why it drags.

Saylani Mass IT Training: free, when a seat opens

Their Video Content Creation With AI course is free and runs four months, but when we checked on 17 September 2026 its own page said admissions are currently closed. A free course you cannot enrol in today is worth knowing about, and worth checking again before you pay anyone.

If a free recorded course fits your situation, take it, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. What you pay us for is a live instructor who opens your timeline in a batch capped at 15 students, a campus in Jubilee Town you can walk into, and the last 15 days spent on getting you a paying client. That is a different product, not a better version of the same one. If you are weighing the free route seriously, we compared them with us, fact by fact.

What video work pays in Pakistan

Reported monthly salaries from Indeed Pakistan, read on 17 September 2026. We have put the number of people behind each figure next to it, because an average built on a handful of salaries is not an average.

Video editor: Rs 52,483

A month, across about 2,100 reported salaries, updated on 7 September 2026. This is the title most Lahore job ads use, and it is the one this course is built for.

Videographer: Rs 58,193

A month, but across only 96 reported salaries, updated on 31 August 2026. We are showing you the sample size because 96 people is thin, so treat this figure as a hint, not a promise. Editors who can also shoot do get paid more.

Graphic designer: Rs 47,697

A month, across about 2,800 reported salaries, updated on 7 September 2026. It is here for scale: video editing is not a lesser skill than design in this market, it pays slightly better on average.

We are not putting a freelance or per minute earnings figure on this page. There is no source for Pakistani freelance video income that we can show you and stand behind, and a number we cannot source is worth nothing to you.

Who can join, and in what language

No entry condition, and no film background

There is no minimum qualification for this course and no entry test. You do not need matric, inter, a degree or any prior editing experience, and you do not need a camera. What you need is a laptop that can run the software and the time to actually cut the assignments, because editing is learned on the timeline, not in notes.

Taught in Urdu and English together

Classes are taught in a mix of Urdu and English, whichever makes the point land. The software, the menus and the terms you will use with a client stay in English, because that is how you will meet them in real work. One of the bigger institutes in Lahore publishes English only as its language of instruction for this course, which is worth knowing before you enrol anywhere.

Course FAQs

Do I need a high-end laptop?

A laptop with 8 GB RAM or more makes Premiere Pro comfortable, and CapCut runs on almost anything. The AI tools we use run in the browser, so they don't add much load. Send your specs to the counselor if you're not sure.

Is this the old Video Editing course?

It's the same course rebuilt. Everything that was in it is still there, and a full month of AI video work has been added, which is why it's now 4 months instead of 3.

Which AI video tools will I learn?

Browser-based AI video generators, AI voice and dubbing tools, and AI captioning. Tools change fast in this space, so we teach the workflow first and the current tool second.

Can I earn from this skill?

Yes. The client sprint focuses on pitching video packages to creators, local brands and agencies, and on pricing them so you make money on revisions too.

What is the fee?

Rs 7,000 a month for 4 months, Rs 28,000 in total. You pay month by month. If you leave within 7 days of your first class the course fee you have paid is refunded.

Are classes online or at the campus?

Both. You can attend at our Jubilee Town campus in Lahore or join the same class live on Zoom or Google Meet. Online sessions are recorded, so you can rewatch any class.

What are the class timings?

We run morning, evening and weekend batches, each capped at 15 students. WhatsApp the counselor for the next start date and the slot that suits you.

Is the certificate government-recognised?

No. It's InnoTech Skills Institute's own certificate of completion, printed and handed over at the campus. Employers and clients look at the portfolio you build during the course; the certificate confirms you completed it.

What happens in the last 15 days?

The final 15 days are the client phase: you set your price, write proposals, do outreach to local and international clients and learn to follow up. The goal is that you leave with a real lead or a first paying client, not only a certificate.

Is the course taught in Urdu or English?

Both. Classes are taught in a mix of Urdu and English, whichever makes the point land. The software, the menus and the terms you will use with a client stay in English, because that is how you will meet them in real work.

Do I need to have passed matric or inter to join?

No. There is no minimum qualification for this course and no entry test. You do not need matric, inter, a degree or any prior editing experience, and you do not need your own camera. You need a laptop that can run the software and the time to cut the assignments.

What do video editors earn in Pakistan?

Indeed Pakistan reports an average of Rs 52,483 a month for a video editor across about 2,100 reported salaries, updated on 7 September 2026. A videographer averages Rs 58,193, but across only 96 reported salaries, so treat that one as a hint rather than a promise. For scale, a graphic designer averages Rs 47,697 across about 2,800 salaries. What moves you up the range is the reel you can show, which is why you build one here.

DigiSkills and Saylani teach this free. Why pay?

They do, and you should know that before you pay anyone. DigiSkills.pk runs a free Video Editing, Animation and Vlogging course, a 12 week batch in Urdu and English, and the batch that started on 3 August 2026 shows 17,619 enrolled trainees. Saylani Mass IT Training runs a free four month Video Content Creation With AI course, though its own page showed admissions closed when we checked on 17 September 2026. What you pay us for is a live instructor who opens your timeline in a batch capped at 15 students, a campus in Jubilee Town, and 15 days at the end spent on getting you a paying client. If a free recorded course suits your situation better, take it.

How does the fee compare with other institutes in Lahore?

Rs 28,000 in total for four months, paid Rs 7,000 a month. ICT Trainings publishes PKR 15,000 for a one month Video Editing course, a little over half our total for a quarter of the time. Peak Solutions publishes PKR 20,000 plus a PKR 2,000 admission fee and a PKR 1,500 examination fee for two months. NISDA charges Rs 5,500 a month plus a Rs 1,000 enrolment fee. Nexskill, Corvit, Baabroz and PNY publish no video editing fee you can read. These were read off their own pages on 17 September 2026.
