Prompt engineering course in Pakistan. What each one costs.

Type “prompt engineering course in” into Google from Pakistan and the first suggestions are Karachi, Pakistan, Lahore and Urdu. So here’s what’s actually on offer in this country, read off each provider’s own page, what it costs, and when a free tutorial will do the job just as well.

In short

Prompt engineering means writing instructions that get usable work out of ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. In Pakistan you can pay PKR 8,000 at IUB (two months on campus in Bahawalpur), PKR 12,000 plus tax at NIBAF (one day) or PKR 24,999 at LUMSx (four weeks online), or learn it free from Anthropic’s tutorial on GitHub. DigiSkills has no prompting course. InnoTech doesn’t sell prompting on its own. It’s month one of AI & Automation, Rs 8,500 a month, Rs 17,000 for 2 months, taught live online in Urdu and English, followed by automation, chatbots and 15 days spent finding a paying client.

Outside prices were read from each provider’s own page on 12 October 2026 and are linked below. Ours come from our course page.

What you’re really paying for

Prompting isn’t hard to start. Ten minutes with ChatGPT teaches you the basics. What a paid course should add is three things a free video can’t: someone checking your prompts against a real task, practice on the kind of work you’ll actually do, and a reason to keep going after the first week. If a course gives you none of those, a free tutorial does the same job for nothing.

And ask what you’ll do with it. On its own, prompting is rarely a job title. It makes an office worker faster or a marketer quicker with content, so pick the course that fits the job you’ve got or the service you want to sell.

What prompt engineering courses in Pakistan cost

Every price below is printed on the provider’s own page. Check the link again before you pay.

LUMSx: PKR 24,999

AI Prompt Engineering Essentials. Four weeks online, two live sessions, next start 15 December 2026, instalments available, taught in English and Urdu. Eight graded mini projects and a 70% pass mark for the certificate. The strongest name on a CV here.

NIBAF: PKR 12,000 plus tax

Prompt Engineering for Professionals, from the State Bank’s training institute. One day, 10 AM to 5 PM, in July 2026. A good first look, and the kind of course an employer might pay for.

IUB: PKR 8,000

Prompt Engineering & Generative AI Mastery at Islamia University’s CAIPSD. Two months, 9 AM to 3:30 PM (listed as tentative), at the Baghdad ul Jadeed campus in Bahawalpur. The cheapest paid option we found, if you can get there.

Google: paid subscription

Google Prompting Essentials costs US$49 a month in the US and Canada, and Google says prices vary by country. Self-paced, eight courses of about an hour each, Google certificate at the end, no live teacher. It comes in 17 languages and Urdu isn’t one.

Anthropic tutorial: free

The interactive prompt engineering tutorial from the company that makes Claude. Nine chapters with exercises plus an appendix, in English, on GitHub. It suits someone who doesn’t mind a bit of setup.

DigiSkills: no course for this

We went through all 24 courses on DigiSkills’ course list. None covers ChatGPT or prompting. The nearest is Artificial Intelligence using Python, which is a programming course. Our free government courses page has the rest of the free options.

InnoTech AI & Automation: Rs 8,500 a month, Rs 17,000 in all

2 months, live online on Zoom or Google Meet, never more than 10 in a batch, Urdu and English mixed. Prompting is month one, then automation, chatbots and a client phase. It costs more than IUB or NIBAF and runs longer than LUMSx, so it only makes sense if you want what comes after the prompts. No registration or exam fee, and a full refund if you leave within 3 days of your first class.

Four questions that pick the course for you

  • Do you need a big name on the certificate? Then LUMSx is the clear pick. Ours is InnoTech’s own certificate, not a government diploma.
  • Do you learn better in Urdu? LUMSx and our classes both teach in Urdu and English. The self-paced options are English only.
  • Do you want someone to check your work? Self-paced courses grade quizzes, not your prompts on your task. If free videos stalled you, live feedback is what’s missing.
  • Do you want to sell it? Prompting alone is a thin thing to sell. Pair it with something a business pays for: automations and chatbots (AI & Automation), marketing content (Digital Marketing, Rs 6,500 a month) or admin work (Office Management, Rs 6,500 a month).

What month one looks like here

Month one of AI & Automation is called “AI That Does Real Work”. The practice is ordinary business work, the kind a shop, a clinic or an agency asks for, not clever prompts for their own sake.

Month 1: prompting

ChatGPT and Claude at a working level: writing, images, research, documents and data. Most prompt engineering courses stop here.

Month 2: automation

n8n and Make, Google Sheets, email and WhatsApp flows, connecting apps. No code.

Month 3: chatbots and clients

Lead-capture chatbots, testing and handover, then 15 days of outreach to find a first paying client.

You finish with two working automations and one chatbot built for a real business, which is easier to show a client than a prompt library. The full outline, the fee and the rest of Lahore’s AI course prices are on the AI & Automation page.

If you’d rather start free, do this for a week

Try this before you pay anyone, us included. Pick one real task you do every week and do it with ChatGPT every day for seven days. Save the prompts that worked in one document, note why the bad ones failed, and work through the first chapters of Anthropic’s free tutorial alongside. If you’re moving on your own by day seven, keep going free. If you’re stuck or unsure your prompts are any good, that’s when a live class earns its fee.

Prompt engineering courses, answered

Which is the best prompt engineering course in Pakistan?

It depends on what you need. For a known name on your CV, LUMSx (PKR 24,999, four weeks online). For a one-day introduction, NIBAF (PKR 12,000 plus tax). For live Urdu classes that carry on into automation and client work, InnoTech's AI & Automation at Rs 8,500 a month. To just try it, start with a free tutorial.

Prompt engineering course ki fees kitni hai Pakistan mein?

12 October 2026 ko jo fees khud un ke pages pe likhi thi: IUB Bahawalpur PKR 8,000 (2 mahine, campus pe), NIBAF PKR 12,000 plus tax (ek din), LUMSx PKR 24,999 (4 hafte online). Google ka course US aur Canada me US$49 mahana hai. Anthropic ka tutorial muft hai. InnoTech me prompting AI & Automation course ka pehla mahina hai: Rs 8,500 mahana, poora course Rs 17,000.

Is there a prompt engineering course in Urdu?

Yes. LUMSx lists its course as taught in English and Urdu, and InnoTech classes run in a mix of Urdu and English. Google Prompting Essentials comes in English and 16 other languages, and Urdu is not one of them. Anthropic's free tutorial is in English.

Is there a free prompt engineering course with a certificate?

Not one we could confirm. Anthropic's tutorial on GitHub is free, but its page says nothing about a certificate. Google's course gives a Google certificate, but it is a paid subscription. DigiSkills is free and gives certificates, but none of its 24 courses covers ChatGPT or prompting.

Kya prompt engineering seekh kar job milti hai?

Sirf prompting se kam. Faida tab hai jab ye kisi kaam ke saath jure: office ka kaam, marketing content, ya business ka kaam automate kar ke bechna. Isi liye hamare course me pehle mahine ke baad automation aur chatbots aate hain.

Do I need to know coding for prompt engineering?

No. Prompting is writing clear instructions in plain language, and our AI & Automation course has no coding requirement and no entry test.

Is there a prompt engineering course in Lahore or Karachi?

InnoTech is run from Jubilee Town, Lahore, and every class is live online on Zoom or Google Meet, so you can join from Karachi, Islamabad or anywhere else in Pakistan. A batch is never more than 10 students.

Is the InnoTech certificate government recognised?

No, and we say so. It is InnoTech Skills Institute's own certificate of completion. What gets you work is the portfolio you build in the course: two working automations and one chatbot, built for a real business.
